As sad as I was that Chris had to get glasses, It is a good thing for him. It will really help him in his reading. He has struggled for so long in reading and comprehension, who knew.....He couldn't see! :( He looks soooo cute still!
Friday night we went to Knott's with some friends from work. It was so much fun. Chris went on his first roller coaster. He was soooooo proud of himself. Then both boys went on the log ride for the first time. THEY LOVED IT!!!!
After our soccer game, we went to Lisa's for Jade's Birthday. I cannot believe she is 10 years old. Anyways, Nick kept laying around complaining of a headache. After being there for 4 hours, he suddenly got a fever and we had to leave. Poor kid! Today is the 3rd day still having a mild fever and headache, so he has a Dr. apt. tomorrow. Wish us luck. Happy Birthday Jade! We love you!!!
Today was the boy's 1st day of school. Man, you would think it got easier every year, but it doesn't! It makes me sad every year to watch them move up a grade and keep growing. But, they are such good boys and we are so proud of them. So, here's to another school year. Oh and just for the record....it looked like I dropped them off in the 1980's! Everyone was wearing florescent colors and crazy 80's clothes! It was crazy!
Yes! It was crowded! :) But....we wanted to do one last thing before the boys go back to school tomorrow, so we went to Disneyland. Here are some picts. We had a great summer!!!
Yep! We made it 10 years. :) We went to Palm Springs for our Anniversary this weekend. We had a really nice time. The resort was nice, but it was sooooo hot! The night of our Anniversary, we went to Roy's for dinner. When we got seated and they gave us our menu's, we opened them up and there was a paper inside the menu saying "Happy 10th Anniversary" Jason and Shannon. It was so cool! Then they brought us a special dessert and took our picture and gave it to us in a frame. We really enjoyed it. It was a great weekend away. Did i mention it was the first weekend we have had alone in 8 years?! :)
YEP! That is right! We went to see the Jonas Brothers at the Staples Center Friday night. It was the boys first concert ever. It was CRAZY! Talk about a million screaming little girls! All that aside though, it was actually an entertaining show. The boys were really tired and were over it pretty quick. But, when it was over, they said they liked it and had fun. Then crashed as soon as we were on the freeway. :)
