Happy Easter!

Happy 16th Birthday Kailey!

"Cousins"

Dustin, Kailey, Jacob, Lauren, Ben, Jade, Nick and Chris Well, we made it home from Tennessee! We had several hours delay at the airport on Friday, but we finally made home. Today we had Easter at our house. It was a great day and even though it started out rainy and cold, it turned in to be a beautiful day. Today was also our niece Kailey's 16th Birthday......I don't know how she got that old. :)

I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter day.

Last Day in Tennessee

Today is the last day before we leave. We have had a great time. Today we ate some BBQ food, it was sooo yummy. We also went and saw Jay. He was my parents first Foster son that they almost adopted. He was 14 when they had him and we came out and met him then. Now he is 17 and back with his real mom and doing really good. The boys have loved being in Tennessee and getting to be with my parents and Tyler and Caleb. We will miss them a lot, but also look forward to seeing Jason.

Nashville

The Tennessee River

Not sure this California family can really rock the cowboy hats.... Across from the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Nashville.

Today we went to Nashville. It was a LONG drive.... To be honest we didn't do much out there and didn't really know what to do or where to go. It was freezing and rainy, but we went to lunch and walked around a bit. It is a pretty cool city and nice to get to see somewhere different like that...........

Tennessee Updates

Ah...My Boys...

Wow, Look at them Milk that Cow!

First Time Riding in the back of a truck...

Check out our Bamboo! Not sure how that's going back on the plain with us. LOL

My grandparent's neighbors... The Goats!

Just hanging out at the park.

Looking for Tadpoles....

Yesterday we hung around town. We went to a couple parks, went to Cracker Barrel again and then hung around the house.

Today we went to Mayfield Dairy Farm. That is where all the milk and ice cream around the south is made. It was cool, we took a tour of the factory and at the end we all got ice cream. :) Tonight we went to dinner at my grandparent's house. Homemade Lasagna....YUM!!!! The boys played outside the whole time and my grandpa took them in the back of his truck down into the woods where they got to cut down some bamboo to bring home. They had a blast!

Spring Break in Tennessee

The boy's got to meet a Bald Eagle!

The top of Look Out Mountain!

Is that my dad or the Grim Reaper?!
Cracker Barrel!
The Fallen Tree!
Waiting at the Airport!
The Limo Ride!

We are in Tennessee!

Jason had a limo pick us up and take us to the airport. We flew here on Friday, had a pretty bumpy flight (bad weather), landed about a half hour late. After leaving the Atlanta airport about 9:30pm, we drove to my parents house in Tennessee (in the pouring rain with thunder and lightning) and got there about 12:30am! Long Day!!! As soon as we arrived, we pulled into the driveway of their house where a tree that was literally hundreds of feet tall, had just fallen. The neighbors came across and said it had just happened about 2 minutes before we got home. What a blessing that we got in late or that tree would have fallen on us, or at least my dad's car. Since then we have had a great time. Went to Cracker Barrel yesterday and then the kids just played around the house. Today we went to Chattanooga and went to "Rock City". That place is beautiful! You can actually see 7 different states from the top of that mountain.

Enjoy the Pictures!!!
