Our Summer Vacation

My Golfers....

This year we went to Palm Springs for our summer vacation. We left Saturday morning and came home Tuesday July 5th. We had a great time. It was super hot of course, but we hung out by the pools most of the time. The resort had a water slide and lazy river for the kids to play in. On the 4th of July we hung out at the pool of course, then went to lunch and that night we met up with some friends that were in Indio and the kids all played in the pool, the sprinklers and then they did fireworks in front of the house until Nick started feeling sick and we left to go back to the hotel. Still, we all had a fun time. Jason and the kids golfed on Sunday morning. They played at 6am, so I slept until they got back. :)

This weekend

Friday night Stephanie was in town and came to visit. The kids swam and played and had a great time. It is great that even though they only see each other once a year, they can pick up where they leave off and play like they are best of friends.

Saturday we went to Fish Fest! It was so much fun and the kids loved it. We say Third Day, Mercy Me, Tenth Ave. North and other Christian bands. It was a long night, but worth it. :)

Father's Day Weekend

Well on Saturday we went to Joshua's Graduation party. I cannot believe he is so old. I remember when he was just a baby..... which just makes me feel old. LOL

Sunday was Father's Day. We went to church, had lunch at home and then Jason played golf. :) I think he had a nice Father's day....

Last Day of 5th Grade

Yep....another year gone by. :(

Nick got a few awards on the last day of school. They both did great this year. Thank God we have one more year of Elementary School. I am dreading Middle School. Ugh!

Legoland

We went to Legoland a few weeks ago with some friends. We had so much fun. :)

Well, I flew home from Texas on Sunday night and on Monday Lisa invited us all to dinner at Wahoo's at Crystal Court. Rudy wanted us all to get together "so we thought". We were almost done with dinner when my MOM AND DAD come walking in!!!!!!! OMG! We were in shock! Rudy and Jason knew, but we had no idea! It was the most amazing surprise I have ever had. Tonight was their last night here. We had a BBQ and celebrated my dad's 60th Birthday since we wont be with him in a week when he really turns 60. It has been so nice having them here, and even though they have only been gone a few hours, I already miss them. :(

It was a great week though and such a wonderful surprise.
